U.S. Coal Corporation mines, processes and markets high quality, low-sulfur steam coal in the Central Appalachian region of the United States.

U.S. Coal markets its coal primarily to utilities for electricity generation and, to a lesser extent, industrial users, coal traders and other coal producers.  The majority of the coal produced by the Company is high quality, low sulfur/low ash, NYMEX-grade coal.   The company has coal mining rights to approximately 70,000 acres of leased and/or owned land in eastern, Kentucky with over 80 million tons of steam coal reserves and resources.  

TerraNova Relationship U.S. Coal was incorporated in June 2006 by management and principals of TerraNova for the purpose of acquiring privately-held coal producers.  Since January 2007, when the company made its initial acquisitions, TerraNova, through its broker-dealer subsidiary European American Equities, Inc., has acted as the company’s financial advisor with respect to the following capital raises:
